Friends of Jewish Renewal in Poland will host the chair of Beit Trojmiasto Dr. Jan Miklas-Frankowski at Temple Beth Shalom of Long Beach on Shabbat, December 13 & 14. On Shabbat afternoon, Professor Miklas-Frankowski will address topics that focus on the image of Poland in the eyes of American Jews. Recent films such as Jesse Eisenberg’s “A Real Pain” and “Treasure” starring Lena Dunham will be referenced. Dr. Miklas-Frankowski’s work in journalism includes many topics in popular culture.
