We are looking forward to the upcoming concert in Warsaw this Saturday, October 24, 2015. We will make a video of the concert and hope that you will want to acquire the video. You will be interested in learning more about David Wisnia through this post from January 2015 when David Wisnia and his grandson visited us and promised to return.
This is an historic moment for the Progressive Movement and for Jews around the world. Cantor David Wisnia was a child prodigy who sang in the largest Progressive Synagogue, the Tlumacki Synagogue before World War II. By a miracle David Wisnia survived Auschwitz and eventually made his way to America. His grandson, Avi Wisnia will accompany him in this concert. Plans are being made for a series of concerts on the West Coast for this Spring.
