Rabbi Janet Madden is teaching in Poland. Rabbi Madden’s blog tells of her experience in Universities in Bialystok and Lodz, as well as meetings with young Poles who are part of Beit Lodz, the Progressive Jewish community in Poland that is part of Beit Polska.
Rabbi Madden has a Ph.D. in Irish literature from The National University of Ireland and rabbinic ordination from The Academy of Jewish Religion-California. Beit Polska has sponsored a number of visits of rabbis/professors as a way of connecting to Jews and non-Jews.
